Oh, the angel rolled the stone away!
The angel rolled the stone away!
’Twas on a bright and shiney day,
When the trumpets began to play,
The angel rolled the stone away!

Sister Mary came a-running
Just about at break of day.
She brought the news from heaven:
The angel rolled to stone away!

2.
Said the angel, “He is not here,
He is risen as he said.
Why do seek you the living,
Way down here among the dead?”

3.
Jesus said, “Don’t touch me, Mary,
But go on ahead of me.
Go and tell all my disciples
To meet me in Galilee!”
